A quote that transcends the years.
"It appears we have appointed our worst generals to command forces, and our most gifted and brilliant to edit newspapers! In fact, I discovered by reading newspapers that these editor/geniuses plainly saw all my strategic defects from the start, yet failed to inform me until it was too late. Accordingly, I'm readily willing to yield my command to these obviously superior intellects, and I'll, in turn, do my best for the Cause by writing editorials - after the fact."
- - - Robert E. Lee, 1863
I guess you could insert Kos kids or left-wing millionaires in for newspaper editors. Oh well.

Great quote!
Whoever you are, Decatur Conservative, you might want to check the accuracy of the quote attributed to A. Lincoln at the bottom of your home page.
Details, schmetails; facts, schmacts: all current republican minds seem to think alike; and that seems to be terribly poorly.
Anny:
Uh...it was taken from an Abraham Lincoln website that listed about 20 or 30 quotes from him from various letters, speeches, etc.
It WAS checked to be accurate.
Liberals schmiberals. Bash first, actually come up with ideas....oh yeah, you haven't.

I could go on, for there were HUNDREDS of other sites that verify your stupidity.
You know Robert E Lee was a confederate general, don't you?
In the real world he lost, is that true in your fantasyland too?
